A small milestone in a long journey.
12 July 2026
Fifteen handcrafted fountain pens. Fifteen lessons in wood, patience, and craftsmanship. A small milestone that quietly marks the beginning of something much larger.

There is nothing extraordinary about the number fifteen.
It is not a collection, nor is it a destination. It is simply a moment worth remembering.
A few months ago, there was only an idea, a lathe, a handful of timber, and countless questions. Every new piece brought its own challenges. Different woods behaved differently. Some revealed unexpected grain only after the final polish. Others taught patience the hard way.
Each fountain pen became a lesson.
Oak. Holly. African Rosewood. Ziricote. Carbonized Oak through the traditional Yakisugi technique. Every species carries its own character, its own texture, its own story waiting beneath the surface.
Some pieces came together exactly as imagined. Others changed direction halfway through the process. None of them were rushed.
Today, fifteen finished fountain pens stand side by side.
They are not identical, and they were never meant to be. Tiny variations are part of their identity, a reminder that every piece of wood is unique and every object is shaped by hand.
Looking at them together feels different than looking at just one. For the first time, the workbench no longer feels like a place of experiments. It feels like the beginning of an atelier.
These are the first fifteen.
The next fifteen will carry everything they have taught us.
