The First One Hundred
No. 10
A delicate interpretation of Honduran Palisander, shaped in the compact Nibster form. The warm grain flows softly across the body, complemented by polished gold details and finished by hand with Renaissance Wax for a natural, satin-like touch.
Some pieces ask to be noticed. Others invite a second look.

Material, surface and intention.
Some pieces ask to be noticed. Others invite a second look.
This Nibster belongs to the latter. Crafted from Honduran Palisander (Dalbergia stevensonii), its surface reveals gentle transitions between warm amber tones and deep brown lines that seem to drift naturally through the wood. Rather than dramatic contrast, it offers quiet depth.
The compact silhouette enhances that impression. Balanced, refined and understated, the proportions give the piece an elegant presence while remaining comfortable in the hand. Gold-plated fittings introduce warmth without overpowering the character of the timber, allowing the natural figure to remain the focal point.
Each piece is individually turned, sanded and finished by hand before receiving several applications of Renaissance Wax, preserving the tactile feel of real wood while providing lasting protection.
Created as part of The First One Hundred, this fountain pen represents an early chapter of the atelier—where craftsmanship begins with respect for the material and every grain tells its own story.
