Object notes
Material, surface and intention.
Few materials possess the quiet authority of Ebony.
For centuries it has been chosen for fine musical instruments, luxury furniture and precision craftsmanship, admired not for dramatic patterns, but for its remarkable depth. Its near-black appearance absorbs light rather than reflecting it, revealing subtle shades and hidden character only upon closer inspection.
Each fountain pen is individually shaped and finished entirely by hand. The silky, polished surface highlights the natural density of the wood, creating an object that feels substantial, balanced and exceptionally comfortable to hold. Rather than demanding attention, ebony rewards it.
Complementing the wood is a black stainless steel Bock No. 6 Medium nib, chosen to create a seamless visual harmony while delivering a smooth, generous and reliable writing experience. The satin-finished metal section contrasts gently with the deep black body, allowing every material to express its own character.
No dyes, no artificial colouring and no decorative effects define this piece. Its elegance comes from nature itself, refined only through patient craftsmanship.
Every fountain pen is unique. The tree wrote the first chapter. We simply continued the story.
