Ebony (Diospyros spp.) has long been valued for its density, depth of colour and quiet visual authority. In this fountain pen, the wood is allowed to speak through restraint rather than ornament: dark black and brown tones shift softly across the surface, revealing fine natural traces, mineral-like depth and a subdued warmth that becomes visible only under changing light.
The form is intentionally minimal, with long cylindrical lines and a distinctive cap profile that gives the piece a composed, almost sculptural character. The dark body is balanced by satin metal accents and a polished metal section, creating a measured contrast between organic material and precise technical structure.
